Since opening in 2002, Psychology Specialists has grown to offer a multitude of evaluations and therapies to patients of all ages.
Our mission is to provide professional and confidential services to help individuals and families with conditions associated with both emotional and physical pain.
We believe a multidisciplinary approach to care is the most effective, and we frequently collaborate with patients and each physician involved in their care to promote healing. Our goal is to achieve the best results possible and see each patient attain a higher quality of life.
In 2009, we created a new division, Child and Family Wellness Institute (CFWI), with a dedicated team of providers who specialize in integrating comprehensive evaluations and treatment for children and families.
Covering much of Central Illinois, both divisions of the practice include more than 25 clinicians with extensive training and diverse areas of expertise.
At Psychology Specialists and CFWI, services include:
- Psychotherapy, counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Psychological and Neuropsychological assessments for Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities and Dementia
- Evaluations for returning to work, PTSD, surgery and custody
- Health Psychology for coping with chronic pain or illness with biofeedback, guided imagery, relaxation training and meditation
