Dr. Mary M. Papandria, Ph.D., H.S.P.P., is a licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in the psychological treatment of chronic pain, physical illness, and physical rehabilitation. Dr. Papandria received her doctorate degree for Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis, Purdue School of Science. She completed an Internship in Behavioral Medicine at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Papandria has been involved in the fields of Behavioral Medicine, Rehabilitation Psychology, and Clinical Psychology for nearly 20 years, and she is a member of the American Psychological Association.
In the area of pain management, Dr. Papandria specializes in chronic headaches, back pain, and Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. She offers biofeedback to to help treat patients with chronic pain and anxiety. In addition, Dr. Papandria conducts psychological evaluations for pre-surgical assessments, with considerable experience administering bariatric surgery evaluations. She also administers pain management and opioid medication evaluations.
Dr. Papandria also provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for adults, couples and families. She has several areas of focus, including: coping with chronic illness, grief/loss issues, PTSD, depression, anxiety and relationship issues.
