ANNA CZIPRI, PsyD

Dr. Anna Czipri is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the psychological treatment of chronic pain and physical illness through the use of biofeedback training, relaxation and guided imagery, health habit training, and stress management.  Dr. Czipri earned her master's and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois, and completed her post-doctoral fellowship in health psychology and pain management at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, Illinois and Midwest Regional Pain Clinic in Bloomington, Illinois.  She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center in West Reading, Pennsylvania.  She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and music from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois.  

In addition to Dr. Czipri's health psychology focus, she has training and experience with the severely mentally ill adult and geriatric populations, mood and anxiety disorders, and diagnostic neuropsychological and psychological assessments.  Dr. Czipri's treatment modalities include behavior modification as it relates to health psychology, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy, and interpersonal psychotherapy.  Other professional interests include womens' health, postpartum depression, and neuropsychological assessment of dementia and other cognitive impairments.
