ERICA THOMAS, Psy.D.

Dr. Erica J. Thomas is a post-doctoral resident in clinical psychology. She is originally from Chicago, Illinois and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Hampton University in Virginia and her Master’s and doctorate degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University.  Dr. Thomas completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Georgia Network for Educational and Therapeutic Support for the DeKalb-Rockdale school district. Her other prior clinical work includes: individual and group psychotherapy with children who have been sexually abused, individuals with severe emotional and behavioral disorders, developmental disorders, and educational and forensic psychological assessments. Dr. Thomas uses an integrative therapeutic approach with cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and client-centered techniques. Her professional interests include children and adolescents, developmental and behavioral disorders, and marital and family issues.
